Its Funds have a particular interest in areas such as asset management, financial planning, financial product distribution, outsource providers, specialty finance, securities brokerage, and related administration and business services companies in the financial services industry.

Lovell Minnick Partners is an independent, management-owned private equity firm formed to provide equity capital for leveraged buyouts, private company recapitalizations and growth capital for developing companies in the financial services industry. Lovell Minnick Partners is the successor to, and continuation of, the private equity affiliate of Putnam Lovell Securities which was organized in 1999 by Messrs. Jeffrey D. Lovell and James E. Minnick.

Lovell Minnick Partners also manages a venture capital portfolio for the California Public Employees Retirement System's Manager Development Program (CalPERS MDP Fund). This fund in conjunction with our joint venture partner, Progress Investment Management, completed its investment period in April 2003.
