Lovell Minnick Partners Appoints Richard Fuchs and Ron Garrow to Advisory Council

JULY 24, 2024–PHILADELPHIA & LOS ANGELES & NEW YORK–Lovell Minnick Partners (“LMP”), a private equity firm investing in growth-oriented companies, today announced the appointment of Richard Fuchs and Ron Garrow to its Advisory Council. Richard and Ron each bring over 30 years of experience and leadership in financial services, healthcare, life sciences and manufacturing. The two will assist LMP in identifying and evaluating new investment opportunities as well as support LMP’s portfolio companies by bringing strategic perspectives of an organization’s workforce, culture, and operations.

Richard Fuchs has more than 35 years of experience in the healthcare industry and has held executive leadership positions at Health Net (Centene), United Healthcare, Anthem (Elevance), and Walmart. Mr. Fuchs most recently served as Walmart’s SVP of Strategy, Innovation and Sales, bringing Walmart’s healthcare capabilities to market. Previously, at Anthem, he developed a National Labor Organization across the 14 Anthem Blue Cross and Blue Shield markets. Prior, Mr. Fuchs was at United Healthcare, leading their Public and Labor sector sales organization, growing their membership by more than one million and over $5 billion in annualized revenue. His career began at Health Net, where he became a business unit leader on both the East and West Coast. Mr. Fuchs received his Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Wittenberg University.

Ron Garrow has over 30 years of experience as an executive leader, managing employees and facilitating various initiatives to ensure that organizations remain aligned with overall goals. At Gartner, Mr. Garrow worked with Chief Human Resources Officers (CHROs) and advised clients in preparation for board presentations and engagement. He also previously served as CHRO at PPD, where he provided HR oversight and support for 30,000+ employees in 98 offices across 47 countries. Earlier, Mr. Garrow served as the CHRO with Belk, working closely with the CEO on margin improvements, inventory, and private brand growth. At MasterCard, he maintained accountability for global human resources in 210 countries. Mr. Garrow received his MBA from Pfeiffer University and a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration from the University of North Carolina.

LMP’s Advisory Council members are independent contractors that serve as advisors to the firm as well as its funds and their portfolio companies, and receive compensation for such services from LMP and its affiliates, which has the potential to influence statements made by them.
