
Jeffrey Lovell
Co-Founder, Chairman
Jeff is Chairman of Lovell Minnick and co-founded the Firm in 1999. Jeff chairs the firm’s Board of Managers and chaired our Investment Committee during our formative years. Prior to Lovell Minnick, he co-founded Putnam Lovell Group in 1987. In his years at Putnam Lovell, Jeff served as President through its development from a single office, M&A advisory firm to a full-service investment bank serving financial institutions worldwide from offices in the U.S. and London. Jeff served as the lead investment banker on numerous mergers and acquisitions. He also established its private equity business and our first funds which became the foundation of Lovell Minnick. Prior to Putnam Lovell, from 1976 through 1987, Jeff was a Managing Director at SEI Investments where he held international, national and regional management positions.
Over the last 30 years, Jeff has served on many portfolio company boards and served as the Chairman of several Boards. Jeff is an active alumnus of the University of Colorado at Boulder. He is a Board Member Emeritus of its Leeds School of Business and served on the University of Colorado Foundation Investment Committee for over a decade. Jeff earned a B.S. degree in Business Administration, cum laude in Finance, from the University of Colorado.
