Spencer Hoffman

Partner

Spencer is a Partner of Lovell Minnick and a member of its Investment Committee, joining the Firm in 2007. Prior to joining Lovell Minnick, Spencer was a Principal at Safeguard Scientifics Inc., a publicly-traded growth capital investor, where he completed over 20 private equity and public transactions. Prior to pursuing his M.B.A., Spencer was the Manager of Corporate Affairs at MicroStrategy, Inc., reporting to the founder and CEO, and he was in the Technology Investment Banking group at Merrill Lynch & Company, Inc.

He is formerly a Co-Chair and President of the Wharton Private Equity & Venture Capital Association. Spencer earned an A.B. degree in African American Studies from Brown University and an M.B.A. in Finance from the Wharton School of Business.
