Steve Braverman

Value Creation Team Member

Steve Braverman was named as an Advisor to Lovell Minnick in 2025. Steve is a co-founder and serves as Co-Chairman of Pathstone, which serves families, family offices, and endowments and foundations. He is a shareholder and a voting member of the firm’s Investment Oversight Committee and serves on the firm’s Executive Leadership Team. He served as Co-CEO from the inception of Pathstone through June 2022. Steve’s professional experience extends over 30 years of working with family offices and advising families on their wealth.

Prior to Pathstone, Steve served as President of Harris myCFO Investment Advisory Services, LLC, where he had broad national responsibility for all aspects of myCFO’s investment platform. Additionally, within the broader Harris enterprise, Steve had the distinction of representing the ultra-high net worth market segment on the Senior Management Committee for Harris Private Bank.

Steve is a thought leader and regular contributor to the media on a wide range of subjects regarding high-net-worth families, their investment options, challenges, and the approach to multi-generational wealth management. He has authored a number of white papers highlighting how families of wealth can think about their investment challenges and opportunities. In 2023, Steve’s book, “Your Time with the Baton”, a reflection on how families of wealth can consider empowering future generations, was recognized as a Wall Street Journal best seller.

Under Steve’s leadership, Pathstone has received national recognition, including most recently “Best Multi-Family Office” (above $15B) by Family Wealth Report, “Best Multi-Family Office $20 Billion and Over” by Private Asset Management, “Top 20 RIA Leaders” by Financial Planning Magazine, “Top 300 Financial Advisors” by the Financial Times, and “Top 100 Independent RIA’s” by Barron’s Magazine.*. Steve was recently personally honored with the “Lifetime Achievement Award” in May 2025 by the Family Wealth Report for his contribution to the industry at large, and the work he has done to help develop the commercial success of the Multi Family Office model.

Outside of his professional commitments, he is actively involved with various not-for-profit organizations with a particular focus in health, wellness, and education. He founded the Braverman Family Executive Wellness Program at Englewood Health, one of New Jersey’s leading hospitals. In addition, the Braverman Family Foundation partnered with the Jewish National Fund (“JNF”) to dedicate the Braverman Family Riding Arena at the Red Mountain Therapeutic Riding Center, as well as similar projects throughout the Negev desert in Israel, all focused on perpetuating prosperity and growth. Most recently, this has included his role as Founding Chairman for Creation-Space, an Israeli based accelerator program that supports early-stage startups in the pursuit of “Dual Value Space Technology”.

In addition to his role as Co-Chairman of the Board at Pathstone, Steve also serves as a Board Member for Americana Partners. At Americana, Steve is especially focused on helping the Company build out its Family Office capabilities, and also lends his experience to the Company’s fast-growing success in serving substantial families of wealth. In addition, Steve is also on the Board of Creation-Space and CreationsVC, and through those efforts is a Board Member and Chair of the Governance Committee at OurCrowd, a global platform focused on venture capital investments. Steve holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Economics from the University of Pennsylvania and attended the Keller Graduate School of Management MBA Finance Program.
